Slowdowns during peak hours
Start with a suitable route

Slow connections during peak hours can be caused by your local network, the international link or the destination website—not always the client. X1VPN's route guide explains IEPL, relay and direct connections to help you troubleshoot by use case. Start with a route that matches your destination region. If congestion occurs, keep your existing settings and test another route. Check whether pages load fully and videos play smoothly; the connection icon alone tells you less. Route type can help guide your choice, but it does not guarantee the same experience at every hour.

Stay protected · Connection security

Bank-grade encryption
with clear usage boundaries

Protecting an international connection takes both a suitable route and good account practices. X1VPN uses bank-grade encryption to describe connection protection; no email address is needed to create an account with a username and password. Treat your subscription link as a personal access credential: import it only into clients you trust, and never share it in public screenshots or forums. Encryption cannot replace the destination website's account security or eliminate the risks of phishing. After importing, check the app's source, system permissions and destination domains. Use unique passwords for important accounts.

Use less · Billing options

Choose a monthly plan for regular use
Choose a data pack for occasional access

The right billing option depends on whether you visit international websites every day or only look something up now and then. Monthly plans start at ¥9.9/month with 60GB; data resets monthly on your activation date, making them a fit for regular use. Data packs last until used and never expire, which suits less predictable needs. Compare your actual usage and the reset rules before choosing; a larger tier is not automatically the right fit. X1VPN offers a 30-day refund guarantee and accepts Alipay, WeChat and USDT. Check the plans page for prices and terms.

Separate connection results from service eligibility

“Verified” in this guide refers to an illustrative connection-check process, not a promise of long-term availability for every third-party service. To determine whether an app will work, check the network connection, exit region and account requirements separately. Note the message you see and troubleshoot each step; this is usually more useful than repeatedly reinstalling the client.

Route notes: the right region matters more than a familiar name

For general browsing on international websites, start by testing a nearby region. If a tool requires a specific region, prioritize that requirement. IEPL, relay and direct describe connection paths; they should not be treated as a fixed speed ranking. The same route can perform differently across local carriers and times of day. For a useful comparison, keep the device, website and connection mode consistent, and change only the route.

The route status component below is for connection reference, not a substitute for testing your actual task. Open the client, confirm the subscription is up to date, connect to a route and check page loading, account sign-in and content playback. If only one website fails, check its message first. If no international websites load, check client permissions, your local network and subscription status.

What should I do after importing my subscription?

Clients for the platforms above are available after sign-in, except on iOS, where access depends on panel eligibility. After installing the client, get your personal subscription from the user panel and import it through the client's subscription manager. A route list means the configuration loaded, but you still need to choose a route, connect and grant any required permissions. Finally, open your destination website and check the result—don't rely on the status bar icon alone.

When switching devices, repeat the import process on the new device. If the subscription won't refresh, first check your account and plan status, then see whether your local network can reach the panel. Don't rely on old subscription screenshots as a permanent backup, and avoid sharing credentials when asking for help. For your first setup, follow the getting started guide. For rule modes, routine maintenance and more detailed troubleshooting, read the beginner-to-advanced guide.

Irregular use? Data packs never expire

Data packs are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They last until used and never expire. Unlike monthly plans, the key question isn't whether data resets each month, but whether the amount you buy suits your long-term usage. If you connect regularly, track your monthly usage first; if you connect only now and then, review the data pack terms. Monthly plans and data packs are not interchangeable names for the same allowance.

Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date, not on a fixed calendar date. When upgrading mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days; check the panel prompt before making changes. X1VPN accepts Alipay / WeChat / USDT and offers a 30-day refund guarantee. For order or service issues after payment, sign in to the user panel and submit a support ticket. See the Terms of Service for refund rules and how to apply.

FAQs · Before you start

Accounts, connections and refunds

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your credentials safe and don't share your subscription link publicly. Sign in to the same user panel to get a client, check your plan or submit a support ticket. Creating an account and installing a client are separate steps; after setting up your account, import the subscription for your device.

How many devices can be connected at once?

There is no limit on simultaneous devices. Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux are supported. Configure the client separately on each device. Unlimited devices and data allowance are different things: monthly plans still have the allowance shown for the plan you choose. If several devices stream video or transfer files at once, keep an eye on the remaining data in the panel.

What's the difference between a monthly plan and a data pack?

Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date; data packs last until used and never expire. Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data packs are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. For regular use, focus on your monthly data needs; for occasional use, compare options against your longer-term usage. Check the plans page for full terms before choosing.

Why can't I use a website after connecting successfully?

A connected status in the client only means the connection process is established. The destination website may still be affected by the exit region, account eligibility, cached data or the service's own status. Open another international website to see whether the issue is limited to one service, then check the message from the destination. For AI tools or streaming, confirm the exit region and account requirements again. Avoid changing every setting repeatedly in a short time, or it may be harder to pinpoint the cause.

What payment methods are supported, and how do refunds work?

Alipay / WeChat / USDT are accepted, and a 30-day refund guarantee is available. If your payment status hasn't updated, your plan looks wrong or you need to request a refund, check the order in the panel first, then submit a support ticket with the details. Include your platform, what you did and any messages you saw to help identify whether it's an order or connection issue. Read the Terms of Service for the full refund policy.
